Nice January Numbers

January opened well and apparently closed with a bang. The WSJ reported yesterday that the economy added 243,000 jobs in January, more than any month in almost a year. The unemployment rate down is down to 8.3%, from 8.5% in December marking the fifth consecutive monthly decline. The WSJ also reported the “Dow at Highest Since May 2008” with the market showing its appreciation of the news.
