June Jobs Report Disappointing

The Department of Labor reported today that non-farm payrolls grew by just 80,000 jobs in June, now the third straight month below 100,000. The somber report left the unemployment rate unchanged and again fueled worries that the economy is in danger from Europe’s debt crisis.

On the positive side, the WSJ reported that real wages rose, and CareerBuilder reported that  Information technology is the #2 field for hiring with 22 percent of employers planning to add jobs.
