The WSJ reported this morning that tech industry bellwether Intel reported its best year ever thanks to Q4 being its best quarter ever. Intel said its 48% increase in profit was the result of “sales of server systems to companies trying to keep up with the growth of the Internet” and “revenue from such data-center customers rose 15%”.
Definitely good news for us IT managers and employees!
In the January 13th press release posted on the Intel web site, CEO Paul Otellini said “2010 was the best year in Intel’s history. We believe that 2011 will be even better”.
